The subject property is a brand new AAA Grade warehouse being built within an industrial park. The industrial park is in Clairwood which is within Zone 2 for cross haul from all major Port Entrances.

The warehouse has 13 m of height to the eaves and is 18 989 sqm in extent. The offices and ablutions combined are 366 sqm. The total GLA is therefore 19 470 sqm.

The current warehouse design has eight undercover docks fitted with dock levelers on one side of the warehouse. Then on grade under cover doors on the other for loading. There is approximately 15 000 sqm of yard space including parking areas for cars around the warehouse. This provides for ample staging of trucks and loading and offloading.

The build is to the highest specifications and will be completed in September 2023. Given the current acute shortage of warehousing in the Durban Port area this facility is already attracting interest.
